Coaches

Coach Trackers

Coaches are large vehicles that resemble a bus that is generally used for long-distance journeys. This vehicle is often used commercially to carry many passengers between intercity locations and comprises luxurious settings, designed for comfort.
Track coaches in real-time
Unitracker allows companies to receive the real-time location of the vehicle. Not only that, as a coach company manager, you can check when a coach leaves the station and arrives at the destination, idling times, fuel wastage/consumption and driver identification to address any performance problems.
Real-time video telematics
Cameras are installed on the coaches along with an inside dashcam and passenger camera facing the driver and passengers, respectively. Live video footage transmission takes place throughout a journey to ensure the safety of all on board. In an unlikely event, this footage can serve as evidence to verify claims.
Monitoring driver performance
Fleet managers can view telematics communicated to the system in real-time no matter where they are, with just a simple login and some basic information. Driver and driving information like driver identity, departure and arrival time, route history, mileage, fuel consumption, and driving patterns are some of the vital information collected by the system. Companies can use this information to identify good or bad performances and reward or correct them accordingly for better business.
Improving passenger and driver security
More people, more responsibility and Unitracker understands that well. With the Unitracker installed on coaches, it is more likely to keep the drivers on their toes and prevent them from making any mistakes as they are vigilant of being watched. Unitracker is also capable of monitoring road hazards and any careless driving habits that are to be corrected in the drivers to ensure passenger and driver safety.
Key Features

Camera Integration

Unitracker allows you to keep track of your fleets via a dashcam integrated into your vehicles, facilitating timely decisions to prevent any avoidable circumstances. With the 3g-enabled dashcam, fleet managers can receive live footage of the journey and routes to prevent mishaps, goods theft or false insurance claims.

Crash Sensing

Embedded with crash sensors, the Unitracker minimises life risk by forwarding an SOS in the event of a crash. On collision with another vehicle or object, it triggers the airbag to diminish the chance of any life-altering injuries to the driver, which makes it an intelligent system.

Driver Behaviour

Since the safety of cargo relies on driver behaviour, monitoring behavioural patterns can aid in regulating driving habits and identifying any cause for potential liabilities by analysing collected data. Data collected includes speed, idling, number of stops, total driving time and more. This information can be used to improve driver performance.

Driver ID

Unitracker includes an identification system that makes it mandatory to scan driver identification for igniting the vehicle engine to record who is driving which vehicle. Fleet managers can track the driver and the vehicle using driver identification, count the vehicle mileage and monitor driving habits to distinguish good performers. Vehicle mileage can be registered as personal and business mileage, with business mileage being the value that will be compensated. Driver ID makes it easy to generate timesheets specific to each driver. For a comprehensive overview of performance, identifications can facilitate the generation of reports for individual drivers.

Geofencing

Installing Unitracker with your assets or vehicle can ensure its security as fleet managers or owners can receive instant notifications and alerts if the vehicle or asset enters or leaves a certain area. Fleet managers can designate an area for the vehicle or asset to conform to and get alerts when it has entered or exited the assigned area.

Idling

Engine idling results in fuel wastage that can be costly for businesses. Unitracker is an advanced system that keeps track of when the driver has the engine running but is not driving (idling) alongside driving time and vehicle mileage. The mileage can be viewed in a comprehensive report to indicate driver performance and hours.

Remote Immobilisation

Portability of Unitracker enabled by the cloud-based web application and mobile application allows the remote protection of assets or vehicles. In the event of theft or unauthorised use of the vehicle, owners can remotely immobilise the vehicle to lock the engine so that the vehicle is no longer capable of use without unlocking the engine.

Motion Sensing

Detect the movement of the vehicle or asset, even with no ignition. Notifications are sent whenever the vehicle begins moving. Motion sensors in Unitracker protect the vehicle from theft and tampering, as alerts and notifications are generated by the system if any unusual activity occurs.

PTO (Power Take-Off)

PTO is integrated with Unitracker which facilitates the redirection of power to other motorised devices or equipment. It is possible to achieve this by connecting the device to the vehicle. For example, in case the power goes out, PTO can benefit by supplying electricity like a backup generator to keep the premises powered.

Panic Button

Driver safety is a prime concern in fleet businesses. Unitracker provides a panic button installed in the vehicle that the drivers can use if they find themselves in an unsafe situation, especially in isolated areas or in accidents. By using the panic button, drivers can alert the fleet managers so immediate action is taken to reduce the impact of a potentially adverse situation.

Private Mileage can be set without using driver ID

Unitracker gives you the option to switch between personal and business journeys when recording vehicle mileage to differentiate the hours that the vehicle has been used for work. Tracking private mileage without driver identification preserves the privacy of the employees and prevents them from feeling watched outside of work hours while monitoring the performance of the vehicle.

Real-Time Location

Track your fleet and assets in real-time with accuracy, no matter how far the distance is. Pinpoint the location of your vehicle from a thousand miles away and view the trip history of each vehicle from the Unitracker web or mobile application. At any given point in a business, it is expected that multiple vehicles are en route. Unitracker transmits the exact location of all of the vehicles on the road through GPS and streams live footage through an integrated dashcam.

Telematics (Tachograph Remote Downloads)

Telematics is the use of telecommunication medium to transmit data and information in real-time. Advanced GPS vehicle trackers like Unitracker communicate vital information about the vehicle to the system through satellite receivers. Data such as vehicle location, time, speed, engine idling, driver identification, driving hours, mileage, temperature and more are sent to the system, which is compiled into a useful report so the fleet managers can analyse it to reduce cost and improve efficiency. Unitracker also

Temperature Sensing

Unitracker consists of sensors to monitor the temperature of fleets in real-time. This is done remotely as temperature data is transmitted to the software and recorded through GPS. It is useful for cold-chain as it balances the temperature within the required range and detects the presence of any humidity. Notifications and alerts are generated if the temperature is at an unacceptable level to preserve the supply and prevent any losses.

Maintenance Reports

Being a fleet manager means you have a demanding schedule, which means it can be hard to keep track of data from countless spreadsheets with so little time on your hands. Our fleet management software can be of aid in keeping up with the vehicle maintenance reports and sustaining organisation, comprehending asset health and reducing costs of service. Not to mention, having extensive documentation of all the maintenance activities and crucial information will certainly be useful in managing business affairs.

Trip and Mileage Logging

Our program mechanises the whole process of trip and mileage logging. Now by providing a bit of important information, you can instantly keep track of the travelling dates, locations from the beginning to the destination and mileage of every vehicle, private or business. With this feature of our fleet management software, you can save money as well as precious time.

Alarm Triggering

Unitracker comes certain alarms that are triggered based on different events to warn the driver or people in surrounding of any mishaps that need to be dealt with. Alarms are triggered in case a vehicle arrives or departs from a particular geofenced zone, unauthorized usage, reversing or on detection of tracker disconnection.

Battery Disconnect Detection

Unitracker device has a built-in battery that is combined with a sensor to detect disconnection. The Battery Disconnect Detection feature will monitor the main battery levels of your vehicle. If the software senses that the charge is low or if the battery has been disconnected, an alarm is generated to notify the fleet managers.

Fuel Sensors

Fuel level detection sensors are installed in the fuel tanks for every vehicle to monitor its usage and consumption, which allows fleet managers to manage the expenses or even reduce them. Fuel expenses form a significant portion of the operational costs. With Unitracker, the fuel level for either a single vehicle unit or entire fleet can be viewed at any time, which is compared to the expected fuel consumption to identify discrepancies to aid managers in making better decisions about fuel management. Generate and analyse reports that show the timestamped status of fuel and its consumption at any given period of time to detect theft and increase efficiency.

GPS Disconnect Detection

Unitracker’s GPS Disconnect Detection notifies you immediately if your GPS device is no longer connected to power from any vehicle. This alert can be in the form of a text or a push notification if you have the mobile application installed.

GPS/GSM Jamming Detection

GPS is a primary component in Unitracker, that is used to transmit data in real-time. Criminals often use GPS/GSM jammers that interfere with GPS signals so it becomes easier for them to carry out theft or any malicious activity. To protect the system, Unitracker comes with a GPS/GSM jamming detection that senses even low-power jammers and instantly notifies them of their presence within proximity.

Tracker Power/CPU Disconnect Detection

To keep receiving live location updates and tracking your asset or fleet, the tracker installed should be turned on and connected to power. Otherwise, the link that transmits the information will be broken. In case the tracker gets disconnected, the system detects it using an embedded sensor and generates an alert to inform the user.

RFID Tag/Card Integration Driver ID

Drivers are issued with RFID tags for identification which are swiped onto a card reader installed onto the vehicle. Each card or tag has the individual driver’s details associated with it, which are communicated to the Unitracker system. The vehicle is unlocked on successful authorisation, allowing the drivers to use it. If an unauthorised user is detected, an alert is generated to notify the employers.

Trailer ID and Information

Unitracker keeps an overview of all the necessary information regarding your trailers and trucks such as the speed and mileage, keeping it quickly within your reach whenever you need it. It also consistently updates you on the most recent incidents related to your trailers so you can respond fast, apply the data smartly and make sharp decisions. With this software, if you are legally required to provide the full and proper documentation, it will be prepared for you to hand to the authorities with much ease.

Speed by Road Type

Speed limits set by the government differ based on the type of vehicle being manoeuvred, the location and quality of construction and the type of roads ranging from city roads to highways. The software detects whether the surface of the road is bumpy or smooth, and accordingly keeps vehicles within the speed limits of an acceptable range.
